Meet Dr. Tony Fisher

Being an orthodontist is a privilege that allows me to make an amazing, positive effect on not only people’s smiles but also their confidence. I enjoy helping people become the best version of themselves by giving them a confident and radiant smile.

My team and I are focused on quality patient care and ensuring the best possible orthodontic experience in a friendly and relaxed environment. We look forward to meeting you and your family.

My Education and Experience

I was raised on a farm 20 miles south of Poplar, Montana, in the Charley Creek community. I attended Lambert High School, graduating in 1996. I graduated from MSU-Billings in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and was named Most Outstanding Senior in Biology. In 2002, my wife Michelle and I moved to Denver to attend dental school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2006 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Desiring to specialize in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, I was privileged to be accepted to a residency during the highly competitive application process. I spent the next 27 months studying and treating patients in an orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado, and graduated in November 2008. During orthodontic residency, I served as class president and was awarded one of only two scholarships for academic and clinical excellence.

Upon receiving my orthodontic certification, my family and I returned to this area, where I joined Dr. T.R. Reiner’s practice, which is now Fisher Orthodontics. We are excited to be back home among family and friends.

Continuing Education

In addition to my formal education, I stay current on the latest trends and technologies to provide patients with the best possible treatment options. I am a member of the Spear Study Group and am the Director of the Give Kids a Smile program for the Williston Dental Society. Additionally, I am a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the North Dakota Dental Association.

Outside the Office

My wife Michelle and I welcomed our son, Evan, into the world in 2008. When I’m not in the office, I spend time hunting, golfing, and watching Evan’s sporting events. In addition, I enjoy giving back to the community. I am the president of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, a local charity that assists those in need in the area.
